Not quite sure that we really wished to know that FBG but thank you for sharing it with us. Some people lead such exiting lives. ;-)

Perhaps she was practicing for the role of Le Petomane.

Dont we just Mr Jones??

What with that, the dentist ,the Dr and the blokey in the coffee shop who was wailing about his motorcycle being written off after he came off it even though he had only a small scratch on him, well ,you need to go a long way to beat all that excitement.

Oh forgot to say that as I got off the dentists chair he swung his light thingy and nearly knocked me out...!

Jax,

I believe that you subscribe to FMP. If so can you do me a favour please. Take a look at this 1871 census for me:

Source Citation: Class: RG10; Piece: 240; Folio: 116; Page: 73; GSU roll: 824907.

There is a chap called John born 1826 with a wife Catherine born 1824. Can you let me know what their surname has been transcribed as by FMP.

Thanks in anticipation.

Jonesy,

I have FMP access also. They have the surname as Wright.

Hmmmm, looking at the image, that's a good calculation.... i suppose looking at the writing it could be Wright ?

Thanx Jax. That is what Ancestry has transcribed them as as well but looking at the original I wasn't 100% convinced that it was correct. Oh well its not the first time I have been wrong and I'm sure it won't be the last. ;-)

Re 1871 census.

Tracey, sorry I missed your Wright contribution earlier, thanks for taking a look.

Jax, I saw Josephs when I looked at the original.

Dea, I was looking at the census for someone else who were looking for a John Wright but I am not convinced that whether Wright or Josephs or whatever, that it is their man who according to the 1891 census was born in Bethnal Green.
