ATTENTION! ATTENTION! We are just rounding the West coast of the first Cape Verde island (where we docked last night) on our way to Mindelo on the second island. By the way this chain of islands consist of 9 inhabited and 8 uninhabited isles which are no more than Volcnic outcrops! However, I have been advised that Hurricanes are quite frequent in these waters, and, unfortunately they are particularly bad from August to November. I have checked and the temperature is currently in the high 80s F, , so a stroll around the deck in the sea breeze should be rather pleasant. Our next stop, Mindelo, is on the north coast of the next island, Sao Vincente, so at about 9.30 we shall be entering quite a narrow strait between the two islands. As they ae very mountainous, the scenery should be quite spectacular.

Yes no problem at all, one bunch of dark red roses on its way to you now. Im just collecting up spare seedlings and some seed pods that are surplus to requirements, will store them in my cabin for now until needed. Maggie
