Yes Fans. Good one!

Yes Gins. I wish it would rain too.......maybe Thursday?

You can see I'm in a very agreeable mood today.

Had a bit of excitement this morning on my hospital shift. An expectant mum couldn't quite make it to the delivery suite so had her baby in a consulting room just off the corridor. She got a round of applause from hovering bystanders when she was brought out of the room! Ahhhh. :-D

Boy or girl?
How much did it weigh?

Did they name it "Impatient"?

At least she had the baby in a room...There was something one the news not that long ago about my local hospital where a baby was born in the corridor I think

It was a boy....no idea about weight.....they don't often have scales in a consulting room.....doh! The section he was born in is the eye specialist unit so the nurses there were running about getting pillowcases etc.etc. They all gathered outside the door....one was in tears of excitement. A team of midwives flew along the corridors to get there.

Yep. We've had a baby on the corridor too apparently - also one in the carpark. We're coming up to September.....time for the Christmas babies to arrive..... :-D

Such is life..... :-D :-D

Never thought of those Dea.......good idea.

It's sultry here too....have had some rain but it was very short lived.

Dea

Dea Report 2 Aug 2011 16:23

I have had them for several years now Cynthia - they are worth their weight in gold!!!

They may only be used for a few weeks each year but they certainly make things bearable ! - I don't think I could survive without them
