I've only had one kid today, but that's enough for me, I prefer them one at a time.

Think OH would like to borrow one, until it comes the time to deal with the messy end! He goes all gooey if he sees a toddler when we're out.

Eldest is having problems, PC says no way but at least BM has announced he has a girl friend......oop norf (well, Bingley) so don't know how that will pan out.

Your OH would go gooey over these two then they look so cute,but they are devils in disguise LOL. Well they have gone home now so peace reigns again LOL

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 28 Oct 2010 20:41

And you're shattered and all gooey yourself...only with glue and paint! I don't think he was aware of all the day to day stuff and tantrums as he was out all day and they were warned that 'Dad would be tired when he got home' just before their bed time. Not that it stopped them jumping all over him lol

Same here , he worked and works long hours but still gets tortured when he gets in LOL. Used to come in for dinner then roll around and play the fool until it was time to go back to work. He was and is hands on with all the tantrums etc. I have him well trained LOL

Morning all. Thinking on your London suggestions DET. I have never been to St.Pauls and also very near by there is the Museum of London that looks very interesting by it's web site. Also we will need to sort out best time and place for meet.

Morning LG and Pauline.

Good suggestion. I can get a train to Cannon St. There is one that gets in about 11.15. I don't know the area, so I'd suggest the steps of St Paul's main entrance just after 1130, or alternatively the museum entrance? Less chance of missing each other that way!

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2010 09:59

How about the steps of St.Pauls that's too big for me to lose LOL.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2010 10:07

Ok - you're on! How is the timing for you? PC said she ring me when she finishes Uni and aim to get a train home about 6. I can always find somewhere to sit if you need to leave earlier.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2010 10:12

St Pauls have an entrance fee.....£12.50? Can that be right?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2010 10:15

I just looked that one up, yes the have a bit pricey. Museum is free what do you think? Nearest station to this one is Moorgate according to website.

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2010 10:34

Sorry just read other posting. Timing is fine for me I have no set time to be home as OH will drop me and pick me up at anytime from the station. Just popping off out now for a short while will look in again when I get back if not I will text you later.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2010 10:35

Leave it up to you. If there is only you to pay for and you want to visit St Paul's, if would work out cheaper than dragging another family member along and paying more altogether.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2010 10:40

There is only me to pay for so if it's ok with you we can do that.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2010 10:45

Right - you're on. Catch you later as you need to disappear. I'll have to make sure my mobile is charged up - PC keeps nicking the charger lol

That entrance fee's a bit steep isn't it? When are you going? I know you've probably said when you're going but I can't remember.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2010 14:20

I was rather suprised at the cost as well - I'm hoping they have a smaller fee just for entrance and the Dome. They used to charge seperately for the Crypt. But we'll wing it when we get there.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2010 16:59

Oh what the heck it's our day out lets just wing it and enjoy. Just got to check time of trains as to which is the best one for me to get to arrive 11.30ish.
Pauline we will be causing havoc on Monday LOL

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2010 17:20

We'll need to check if there are any foreign dignitaries in Town - we don't want the security helicopters homing on LG's mobile's GPS signal again. Can't take her anywhere, you know! lol

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2010 17:29

DET I have text you if your phone is charged LOL.
Of course there will be dignitaries in town,us The killer Queen and assistant LOL

checked my train times ok. Just trying to decide which is the best tube station for me to get to for ST Pauls.
