Good morning - hope the invalids are feeling slightly better this morning. I was going to suggest that LG might like to escape to London for a bit next week, but perhaps that had better be put on hold.

My, you are organised Maz! Although we make sure that everything is washed etc the week before we go away, we leave the packing until the night before.

Good idea about the garlic DET, better get some on a piece of string and hang it round my neck. Might not keep the germs away but it'll probably keep everyone else away.

Maz, rub a bit of Fiery Jack on your joints to keep them warm, works better than layers.

I'm off out into the cold now, maybe I should try the Fiery Jack as well.

Afternoon all, DET I will probably be ok for next week and would love to get out of the four walls. Only problem is I can only manage Friday next week but I am not restricted to half term so if that is no good to you we can leave it until another week

LG - I thought you were restricted to half term because of your after school activities? How about the week after then? Exams don't start until 8 Nov, then I'm tied up for 2 weeks with those and other things.

Feeling better today, so obviously not a cold coming on. I'm wondering whether I am reacting to the aircon at work, as the temperature goes from making us too warm to making us shiver.

I can do Mondays and Fridays out of term time. So gives a little more leeway though not a lot.. It is unusual that I am so tied up half term but we are still doing centenary bits and peices.

Can't believe you southerners haven't heard of Fiery Jack. You have to be a hard case to use it. A tiny amount is 10 times more powerful than Deep Heat. Basically it makes your skin that hot that you forget about any other pains you had.

It gives you a tad more heat than you expect.

it is milder here today thankfully so it will not be so painfull ,i have a busy day ,shopping at teatime froggy s coming down tonight as we leave about 6.30 in morning A is taking us to darlington
work will be quiet ,still in the ice zone there i am considering harrassment tactics but not sure if I will benefit

Not sure if harrassment proceedings would have any grounds if she is just refusing to talk to you. If she is trying to bully you, or is your line manager, that is a different matter. At least you have a week off to forget about her!
