My mother always used to say that I went out dressed for summer in winter lol!!

The old bones feel it a bit more now though!!

Edit:

You'd best keep our Ark Royal up to scratch LG!! We can't be doing without it!! Best start some fund raising if funds are getting a bit low!

Evening for a bit until 'Fringe' comes on!

You'd have thought the surveyors would have wanted the business. It so irritating when people say they will call and then can't even be bothered to let you know they won't.

OH and I realised today that yesterday was our 35th wedding anniversary! Just shows how much importance we put on these things - lol

lol - Could we stand each other for that long, will we be around? lol I think he need a medal for putting up with me as it is - he is my friend and my rock. We do a very good Laural and Hardy act on occassions!!!

Thank you LG. Will there be a special ceremony for you to attend? I think I saw in the local free mag something about everyone renewing their Promises. I had thought to ask my old school/down the pub once a term friend if she wanted to go, but other events over took us. I've still got my original Guide, and Ranger's pin, but sadly the Brownie one has got lost. :-(

Yes DET the whole of our District are getting together to renew our promises with other activities too. My 1st Brownie unit are planting an Oak tree in our churchyard to commemorate the occasion. 2nd have all made scrapbooks over the year and Rainbows have planted a shrub with a time capsule under it.

Anyway I am off to bed now as I have not been feeling too good today, nothing serious just a bit of stress and overtiredness. Catch you tomorrow I hope nite nite x

When you are back, do tell what they put in the time capsule. We planted a new tree back in 1990 somethng after the 'hurricane' took one out, and in the bottom of the hole put in an annotated family picture, front page of the newspaper and a couple of small toys - all in a glass screw top jar. It is probably broken, but who knows? Some of the things may have survived for future generations

Belated congratulations for your anniversary DET. I put about the same amount of importance on my wedding anniversary as well, I only used to know it was my anniversary when I got a card from my parents.

Goood morning everyone! Bright but distinctly chilly here. Perhaps its time to get the geraniums indoors. Oh for a greenhouse.

Wasn't up early enough to see any frost or ice LG, so can't comment on that - lol

It was still pretty chilly outside this afternoon, about 8c - BM is coming for a flying visit to collect his winter coats. And to think he used to be the one wandering around in the snow in T shirts - lol

Bloomin' chilly here too LG!! The windscreen was frozen over this morning and had to search out the scrapers!!

Oh heck YG have I given you a bug I feel almost like I have flu this evening. I went to our big Guiding celebration and felt as though I just wanted to curl up in the corner and go to sleep.
