Before my parents had their car boo boo, I was doing so well with Christmas (there I said it) presents, now with exactly two months to go, I haven't a clue what to buy anybody, and I don't think they make $5 gift certificates.

For RMS - how about making fudge, toffee, petit fours or glace fruits for the adults, or shortbread all packed up in a pretty tin? If you have to send overseas its not so easy, unless you do a joint something with your parents.

That sounds like a good idea DET, it adds a personal touch. My nephew used to make sweets for my mam every Christmas and she loved the fact that he made them himself.

Been talking to OH about Monday, assuming its still on. PB goes to uni on that day and he has to collect her from a different station and he'd be running round like a blue bottle if I came into our local one. Sooo - he has agreed to take me to the other station so I can get a round trip/cheap day ticket which means I'd be arriving into Charing X.

Doesn't make a great deal of difference really, but there you go.
