morning all its cold and bright got curtains in the wash

Morning all, bright but bloomin cold here.

Very warmish night here. Have done lots of work work and some searching on another puzzle.

Our weather is heading for a week of rain. That should please the cyber pets. I don't suppose they are allowed to play out in the rain very much over there, too cold.

Right now I am going to bed. I will look in again in the morning when I am fresher.

Maz. I think you need a holiday in Australia. All you need to bring is yourself, your washing detergent and peg bag. I will supply sufficient curtains and other washable objects for you to have a really good time over here!!!

Thats a good idea Maz if you have a couple of weeks to spare my spring cleaning needs to be done LOL

hello ladies i have to be polite here thank you not for the holidays i am trying to tidy the pad up for the wedding lol

Never mind Maz, when the wedding's over you'll be able to sit back and do nothing.

I'm sitting doing nothing now, but the bedding is sitting on the ironing board glaring at me.

Of course I will just have to sit back and supervise your efforts where needed. We are heading into winter so I have about six months before I need to start moving fridges, washing curtains, cleaning stoves, and nagging OH.

I am not a one person cleaning machine!
The best cleaning products are white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda.

I am just following up another lead for an ancestor born in London.
They may have emigrated to Australia too.

I remember my mother taking the carpets out onto the washing line and giving them a good beating! Pleased she didn't use the beater on my bottie!!

and everyone else in house beggars off!

I believe in a democratic household.....that means doing everything I tell them to.............and on time!

Well, um, it does if I get armed with a rolling pin and heavy duty broom!!

Or if I threaten to bake cakes and make folk eat the results.
My baking is so bad that anything coming out of the oven could be patented and used as artillery.

This excludes bread..............I make lovely bread but not cakes!

Morning LG. Morning all. I have left OH in front of the telly yelling insults at the team who is playing the team he hates the most. Now it does not matter which team is playing TTHHTM just so long as that team wins. It is only pre-season competition where the poor sods go out and sustain season ending injuries just so the almighty dollar starts pouring in a few weeks earlier.

Work has been frantic and I really have been neglecting my research. Hopefully I will be able to chase up a few loose ends over the weekend. Not having any problems with the CPs. We have a lot of festivals here right now and of course the motor car races in a few weeks. I can just see the boakins pushing their friction car down pit lane and out onto the track. Might suggest to Sweetpea that he finds an engine for it.

Guess What ? YG YG we had theFire engine full of firemen to visit the school today and I got to squirt a hose .lol lol Their brand new firestation is nearly ready too
the CYber pets sre maybe looking for their pedal car lol they are quite resourseful you know
