Dear All

Hello, fellow nutlodgers

Hope you are well.

Guess what?!!!

I found an ancestor who emigrated, married and had children in Australia. All that research has finally paid off!

Take care
Best wishes

Dear LaGooner

Hello

Aww, thank you very much.

SInce I started looking for ancestors, the amount of people that have said
"haven't you found them yet?!".

A lot of folk think you simply press a few computer buttons and look at some records and there you go.

They don't realise the work, time and concentration involved.

Oh, I love the smell of washing that has been dried outside.
Another reason to look forward to the spring and better weather.

Take care
Very best wishes
x

I spent 3 months searching for my paternal grandfather as I had very little to work on only a hint of his surname and the fact that he had twin sons,my dad's half brothers. I did succeed after a lot of hard work and nearly tearing my hair out.I am now trying to find any living family of these brothers in hope they have a photo of the Grandad I never met.

Hi LG. I'm good thanks. On early shift this month, so enjoying getting home a bit earlier, especially as it is much lighter now. Still too cold to get in the garden though!! Hoping it picks up in time for Easter so I can get some weeding done!

LaGooner Report 3 Mar 2010 21:37

I would love to get out in the garden but so busy with this Brownie pack holiday and umpteen other things LOL. Need to start decorating too but waiting until it warms up a bit so I can fling all the doors and windows wide open as OH hates the smell of paint

I like the smell when I start painting, but gloss gets the better of me!! I'm hoping to hear from the council in another couple of months time about the refurb work, so I can't do anything at the moment. Then it's going to cost me to get it decorated so I'd better try and start saving lol!!

LaGooner Report 3 Mar 2010 21:53

My garden has been completely neglected for about a year. Really must get it back to it's former glory soon.

Gloss paint does me too YG I end up feeling sick and dizzy but I am the only one who does the job.

Duffy would probably be ok, but I'm not so sure about 'trouble'!! She's a little s*d!! I couldn't trust her to do a good job!!

I need Kenny!! I could connect some tubing up to him and he could spray paint the walls for me!!
