OH is the gardener here. I'm suicidal sally when it comes to growing things. I say what plant I like and he grows it.

Right now we have our mandarin and apricot trees and tomato and potatoes growing. And an experimental pineapple.

By the way I had a look on google street view for our house. Can't get to it. The vision stops on the street outside our little area. OH says it is because we are such important people our area is classified. Oh ha! I think it's because they have forgotten we are here.

We can grow potatoes in 'hessian' sacks so you don't need space in the garden as you can stand them on the patio or wherever suits you!!

Potatoes. Do you mean fill the bag up with dirt and stick the spuds in the top and they grow??? And then when they are ready you just tip them out. We grow our potatoes in the garden or in large garden tubs (usually half wine barrels).

By the way we have one more car race to go today and the CPs will be winging their way back to Nut Lodge. I might even fly them back courtesy Qantas as a treat. They have been so good. Some of them have even been talking about taking up employment with British Airways, so it will be to their advantage to see what they need to know.

You certainly won't be able to fly the CPs back with BA unless you are quick!! Perhaps it would be a good idea to keep them there a little longer. I'm sure they must have got used to the heat and it's not quite warm enough here for a few more weeks.
