Hi
xxx

we got back yesterday evening (ie, Wednesday), but am still trying to catch up!

We had a good time, but boy, it was cold at night!

The lowest overnight temperature was -4C (yes, MINUS), the highest was 11C. All the others were 1 or 2 degrees either side of 0C

The days were quite pleasant at around 18/19C on most days.

But it did mean we had the fire lit most mornings, and most evenings!

Good job we found our winter flannelette night wear in the box labelled "cabin clothes" ...................... the bed was lovely and cosy, but, oh, it was cold if you had to go to the loo at 3 am!

We had had no invaders, of either the 3- or 4-legged variety

we're going away again for the first weekend in September, staying with our best friends on Vancouver Island for the holiday weekend.

Thank you Sylvs - much appreciated. Might be worth reading back a bit. You could print if off and read it in bed :-D

Gins, a message will go today no problem. I usually work a day behindhand so it will be in today's lot.

Renes,

Noted your request for distribution of house for sales details.

I have passed the link to one of my close friends whose family already own several holiday properties between them. I have no idea whether they may be personally interested as unfortunately its rural rather than coastal location does not fit in with the properties that they already own and only having 2 double and 1 single bedrooms may mean that it might be a little too small for them. You never know your luck however as even if it does not meet their needs they may know someone else who might be interested.

Just one small point. I took a look at the Guajar-propertie website and noted that they do not seem to have your house shown amongst the country houses advertised. It might be worth your while getting on to them to encourage them to put it on to their website as the more exposure your property gets the better the chances of you finding a buyer for it.

Good luck

Renes

Jonesey

Thank you so much and it is listed under Town Houses ----it is not a Country House -----generally that means -- up, down and around 10 - 15 km of old dirt tract -- that deteriorates over time and falls down the mountain side and having no drinking water no electric and septic tanks

So although a five minute walk from the village situated in the Mirador de la Cruz ---- a beauty spot -- with the village Cross outside my house ---- it is classified as Town

We are 17 mins drive from the coast -----this is a walkers-- hikers holiday choice --- for some reason ( that escapes me ) some people choice to spend there holiday Walking -----------

Thank you Renes

Hello wall :(

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 26 Aug 2011 19:25

I have received several pm's today and not one has been straightforward.

1) Someone sharing a tree after I sent a message (that's a pretty common occurrence).

2) Someone asking if we were related. Nope. I sent them a message back in February re their thread. The thread was never answered. Maybe it will be now :-D

3) Someone apologising for not getting back to me and which family was I enquiring about. :-S

4) Someone telling me they had no idea of what I was talking about and that they hadn't used the message boards for over a year and would never use them again because of some unsavoury messages. Right. I p & c'd their reply yesterday to an old thread from about years ago. I also copied the advice they had received. I then get another message saying they are confused etc. followed by yet another message to say that they didn't realise they had posted because they had found the thread on Google.

5) A reply from Howard saying that he understands the modus vivendi perfectly but just doesn't agree with it.

I need a lie down.

:-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

Modus vivendi

So did he agree or disagree!

Good day then Cyns.......
