Breakfast,

Buttermilk Waffles or Gluten free waffles... Blueberrys, vanilla bean yoghurt or cream..... or passionfruit yoghurt. to go with them. Or you can have bacon or smoked salmon and cream cheese with them. Or Baked Beans.

Spicy wholemeal waffles (the spices are cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger & cardamon.. they are made with wholemeal flour and rolled oats.
I have apple syrup to go on them or vanilla yoghurt.

Italian style waffles: These have sundried tomatoes, fresh basil and parmesan in them... have Italian sausage and/or bacon to go with them.

Crispy chocolate waffles ... ice cream, whipped cream or plain yoghurt to go with them.

Also dried fruits and fresh pineapple slices.

There is also maple syrup and golden syrup.

Juice in the jug, coffee and tea at the ready.

You are most welcome Dea.... the waffle iron has taken a thrashing.... my family gave it to me several years ago... I have hardly used it... so it needed to get out of the cupboard... and unlike Janey's waffle iron (good memory eh?) mine is still like new.... even after today.

I think I will go and have a Brown Brothers Muscat (Brown Brothers are one of the best Aussie wine producers that I have tasted) I see now where they have an Orange Muscat and Flora ... hmmmm think I will need to buy it.

The Muscat will be lovely with strawberries and cream with a dash of castor sugar around the rim of the glass. <3

I did have a lie in I was pooped after a very busy week.

Have some fab gifts and lovely cards and we are off to a hotel later just for the evening....cocktails and a meal and a pamper in a top notch hotel

One of the Friday gang sent me a lovely card with thanks for all the support and hosting I have done for him, through his very tough last year.....

......I feel so very lucky to have such wonderful friends, including you lot...oh and Cyns ;-)

We have just had a power cut here - went off at 8 am and only just come back on - I have been sitting here for over an hour wondering what to do with myself without you all :-S

Anyway, I am back now so I will see if there are any more of those lovely waffles left, I am feeling peckich again :-D
