Why do 2 year olds give such wet sloppy kisses ?????? Yuuukkkk !!!

We took grand-daughter home and little grandson was there.

He showed me his top and said "I've got a lovely new top grannie". I said, "yes, I know, I bought it for you".

He flung himself at me, arms around my neck, "Thank you grannie' he said, with the wettest, sloppiest kiss ever !!............. Urrggghhh !

I hope he gets better as he gets older or I will never have any great grandchildren !!! ;-)

Morning Dea. Thank you for that. Looks as though it is just thee and me this morning. Goody. We can have a natter whilst munching through that delicious breakfast. Would you like a coffee?

Another beautiful day here - how can the weather forecasters keep getting it so wrong???

We had a summer's day here, it is cold again tonight... We just get whatever those Australians send our way with a few other bits chucked in for good measure.

You could have had breakfast in my kitchen, I washed the floor in there today... it really needed it but I was not going to do it whilst a certain person kept coming in with muddy foot prints.
When we had the disabled cats one of them had very strong back legs and he would stand and bang and thump his paws all over the glass pane of the french back doors. I told him I would give him a cloth if he was that fond of standing there and he could clean them whilst he was at it. When you did open the door he generally had three goes at getting through it, he would wobble and fall over and bang one side of the doorway and then repeat the performance and bang the other side of the doorway.. then he would move back and take one almighty leap through the doorway... that would work. He gave us lots of laughs.

What shocking news from Norway.

How sad that all those kids and young people lost their lives

When you think about it Gins, it was pretty preposterous what the bloke was doing... bloody horrific..

Up early this morning ..... just before 5 was woken by our cat going nuts running around and jumping up in the air in our bedroom .... thought he had gone round the bend. Reached over and turned on the light over our bed and found out why he was in such a state. Benjamin was paying us a visit. A bat which I have named Benjamin was flying around our bedroom ceiling.

I had to get up, lock the cat in another room and with my wife hiding under the sheets, kindly request, with the help of a flapping towel, that he join his worried family outdoors. After about 5 minutes of strenuous aerobics jumping and chasing he was finally under the towel and escorted to the outside via the front door. Benjamin and family reunited and as a gesture of thanks he just did a fly-by past the kitchen window.

4th time in 7 years I had to evict him.

Appalling...so appalling. Just watching it on the news. Such a dreadful thing to happen. Unbelievable.

R. I, too, would have been undercover if not at the end of the road. I cannot abide bats.
