Morning friends.

Fink I will give the chicken dish a miss thank you all the same R. :-D

So, if Dea has already eaten, I can see I am down for brekkie - sigh.

Okay, today is help yourself day - as and when you want to.

Cereals - many and varied
Porridge - simmering nicely
Fruit juice
Prunes
Yoghurts

Bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, black pudding - under cover.
Eggs - do 'em yerself. Any which way.

Toast - brown/white/granary/multigrain/thick/thin
Croissants
Waffles

Jams, marmalade, honey, marmite

Tea/coffee/water.

That's yer lot!

Today is my 'do not a lot day'. Hoping to see my friend this afternoon. She is, at last, going through the grieving process of losing her husband. It has taken a while for realisation to hit home because she has been unwell. We talk big time on the phone.

LK - many congratulations to you both. Hope you have a lovely day.

So many ups and downs in life - it's right to celebrate the good times. <3

Sorry Cynthia, had to grab something early as grand-daughter arrived at 8.15 so I had to be dressed and 'sparkly clean' before then ;-)

The chicken was lovely but I have room for more now so I will tuck in to what you have made................... yummm !!!

Hope you have a good day with your friend.

Must go - have to dress all the 'dolls' for 'pretend school'

See you later.

Congratulations LK and may you have many more happy years together.

Does the message about an account being deleted when pressing a send message to someone who no longer subscribe mean that accounts no longer default to free membership? Very strange

Not a clue Toots.

Don't know why Gins hasn't got drop down menus though!

Make the most of playing with the dolls Dea - it won't be long before she has progressed onto texting all her friends and will have her nose continually pressed to a screen. ;-)

It's lovely here to today and yet it's supposed to be pouring with rain. :-S

Fans...the bond matured at just under £4K made about £100 more than if I had put it under the mattress for 10 years!

He came back with very sensible clothes and shoes, even I liked them all!

I had an endowment type policy not sure what my parents paid...something like 2s 6d a week :-) I got £130 when I was 16

As I was only taking home £16 a week back then It was quite a nice little pressie. My parents started buying Bonds for my girls, eldest did'nt get hers until she was 18 not a great amount but she was so ungrateful anyway dont know why they bothered.
