Jem you need to read the books - discovered it nearly 20 years ago now and cant wait for the next one to arrive - there must be 8 very large novels and loads of novellas. I also love the spin off Lord John Grey books.

Wasn't sure if i wanted to see the television series and it was on prime.Then i spotted it on sky and thought " lets see what its like". I am hooked all over again.

They are not the people i imagined them to be in the books - they are good but i can keep both separate and enjoy the stories all over again. Makes me want to get the books out and read all over again.
