Hellooooooo!!

One small problem there LG!! There isn't a tree in my back garden!!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 16 Sep 2010 21:15

Hmmmmm. well go plant one then LOL

YG

YG Report 16 Sep 2010 21:31

But it's going to take years to grow big enough to get the cat stuck up it!! I'll be old and past it by then, if I'm not already lol!!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 16 Sep 2010 21:33

Hmmm a rethink then (that clanking sound is my old brain trying to work LOL)

Stuff the cat up the chimney and tell them it's blocked and might catch fire.

YG

YG Report 16 Sep 2010 22:44

Can't do that either!! The chimney is blocked off with the pump from the central heating and the gas fire.

If you lend me your catapult I could fire them into the top of the chimney though!!

I'm going now to have sweet dreams xx

Afternoon Maz - we played truant and went away! Got back a while ago as OH wanted to miss the M25 Friday evening rush - spoil sport. Trundled round a few church yards, but either his lot were too poor for a headstone or it has erroded with time. One village looks as if time had passed it by - very evocative....except OH was gnashing at the bit lol

I bet that village was a place you would have liked to look around DET. I love seeing places like that.

It certainly was! There was even an unmade road next to the church with the original stone built houses. Even the newer houses have been built sympathetically with the local stone. Just a pity we couldn't stay longer there. There were a couple of people who came out of the church, asked if we were looking for anyone in particular and took us into the church to view a memorial transcription someone had made of the headstones15 years ago. Very handy, and how kind of them to point it out.

You must have felt like you'd stepped out of the Tardis. What was the place called?

Islip, Oxfordshire!

I'll have a google of it.

Edit: It looks lovely, some of the older properties seem to have no footpaths at the front of them. Looks like the people must step out of the house onto the road.

YG

YG Report 17 Sep 2010 20:29

Oh noooooooooo!! LG's escaped!! You've really made a mess of the elastic now!! Don't know whether I've got enough to rethread the catapult!

Bloomin cold here too LG!!! I need a slanket!!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 17 Sep 2010 20:52
