Morning DET. I am doing paperwork / accounts from last nights Rainbows and Brownies. Just looking in to see who's around

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 15 Sep 2010 10:12

there's just me by the look of it, lol.

News of the day - I've managed to squash the fly that has been plaguing us for ever, with a clear ruler against the monitor screen. Now there is a messy splodge! Those fly sprays are so eco friendly and safe, they literally won't harm a fly. lol

LaGooner Report 15 Sep 2010 10:25

I use very "elegant" fly papers LOL. Alright until son visits being over 6ft 5 he walks into them LOL

6' 5", my God - what do you feed him on?

I hate it when there's a fly in the house, I have everyone choking on fly spray and the fly goes merrily on its way.

It's freezing here, strong cold winds - about gale force 8 I think.

I have to go out in it but I'm putting it off because I'm nice and warm here.

Morning Pauline. I have a tall daughter too just over 6 ft. They don't take after me LOl I am a short house !! 5'4. Oh is 6ft. Quite mild here at the mo and very breezy thats ok if I can keep the washing on the line !!

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 15 Sep 2010 11:07

Morning Pauline - LG is about 5' and some inches, so goodness knows where her son gets the height from. Possibly his father? lol

Think its a waste of time spending money on fly sprays. it's all just a con. They've even managed to avoid the tasteful spiders webs left up in the corners of the room. Natures Fly Traps......or at least that's my excuse if someone spots them lol

Right, one last coffee then a shower, and saucepan + wooden spoon for OH.

The wind's too strong to put washing on the line, I'd lose it.

Most of my family are tall as well but I'm only 5' 2". I think the younger generation are getting taller and taller. It must be something in the food.

I'll have to remember that one DET, "I've left that cobweb up there on purpose - to catch the fly that got in." Any other excuses you can think up will be welcome.

Eeeeekkkk!! Don't mention Glen and all his family. Had to move one out of the bath this morning. 'Orrible creatures!! It's almost as bad as saying the 'C' word!!

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 15 Sep 2010 17:45

'C'ough, 'C'ough - a 'C'rumb as gone the wrong way!

Don't like fat hairy spiders either, but can tolerate most other types.
