i bin norty was supposed to be at college doing maths , frog called in and well the joiner brought my loo cabinet that he had made and well i didnt get too college ended up cooking tea for frog who has just gone home now lol lol

well work looms got a letter in the door saturday with a weeks notice of gas mains works outside the house lol for 22.03 guess what they got it wrong its today lol so thursday they are cutting our gas off .lol so we cant park in our street great fun .

Poor you Maz - that must have been a bit of a shock! At least it is a lot milder now so you can probably get away with no heating during the day. Fingers crossed the gas is only off for a few hours. Does someone have to stay in for when they reconnect it? I've heard they won't turn it on back to individual houses until they've checked that no one inside has inadvertantly turn a gas appliance on and forgotten to turn it off again. Or were you planning to use the event to test the response time from the local new Firestation??????
