Mark McManus (Taggart) was actually the nephew of Brian Connelly's foster father.


Numerous sources have incorrectly asserted that he was a half brother of the late actor Mark McManus (who found fame in the title role of detective series "Taggart") but they were not related. Mark "Taggart" McManus was actually the nephew of Brian's foster father.

Hot and Heavy here in South West Wales today. It has just started raining, and there's a possibility of a storm!!!

:-)EMMS- when I was in school, 3 girls formed a Welsh Pop Group called Y Trydan. In an eisteddfod / concert they sang a welsh version: Obla-di Obla da Bywyd Braf (Life is good). They went on to make a welsh record.

LIZ- I loved sweet, in particular Brian Connelly. I had their poster on my bedroom wall.
