David - I agree with Ann, I also believe that foreboding and anxiety are manifestations of depression, it's a broad-spectrum type of diagnosis. Several of us have more than one symptom rearing it's head, in varied degrees of severity, at different times. Ann , believe it or not , I AM making notes for my book, I have several pages already but how to put it all together will be another story . . . . I also have a collection of letters I wrote to my parents when my daughters were tiny, there's more food for a book in there - I have notes my mother made as she was going to write a book about her father ( a naval surgeon who received the DSO for his actions in Crimean war) and grandfather (printer for William Morris) - then I have letters my 3xgtgmo wrote to my grandmother about 120 years ago about the Irish rebellion in the 1790's, apparently I have several books in their infancy . . . . Re the seeds, my best shot are the onion sets which are larger than the seeds, I can pick out beans and peas and squash but . . think the rest will have to be tossed. planted my little spirea today - hope it will thrive in it's new location, the buddleia has finally smartened up and looks healthy. A lady came by with her little dog this evening, just out for a walk, stopped to chat, seems she lived in this house as a teenager, about 30 years ago, and was happy to see it being cared for. I want to do so much, but aging limits my bright ideas!! Gareth and Em's classes have a day trip tomorrow, they are heading for both the bird sanctuary and butterfly sanctuary in Niagara Falls, please keep him away from the water . . . Off to bed now, Mary

Mary, ....... never a dull moment at your house! Give yourself just ten mins! Get in the bath with a book, sooth those aches and pains, and let yourself have the cry you need to let off some tension. You will feel better for it. How much do you need for the dogs? I know pedigree dogs are expensive but with all the training too. I can't imagine, and you are having two! I hope the fund raising goes well and a fairy Godmother turns up with a suprise for you all ! xx
Deanna whats all this putting yourself down calling yourself an idiot lately? You are far from being an idiot!! You are doing extremly well. How are Allan and Tony? xx
Alison (oww, I have been bit, scratches arm) forgot what I was going to say to you now!!! Can only think of itch on arm!! Sorry. xxx
My hair dresser Claire, (who is my friend of 30 years daughter) had a baby girl this morning. How exciting. Had a few tears! Think baby will be called Molly Claire. Born by cesarian. Talk about working up to the end!
My daughters day off today so we will be going out looking for pink things!!

Hi Carole, I've said before that when my ship comes in, it's likely to be a rowboat LOL.
Seriously I got a little boost in the fundraising today - worth more than the $ amount, for the sheer pleasure it provided. Emlyn and her little friend Hannah came in the door and said 'we've brought you some money for the dogs'. They presented me with a HUGE tin, with $11. in it ( a total of of 7 coins). I asked where they got the money and apparently they had been going to neighbours and selling bottles of water (our supply for school lunches) for $1 each. Ingenuity, 2 little business partners . . . I had to smile, don't think I'd have had the gumption to do that, at 9 years of ge LOL.
Treehunter, hope you'll be happy in your new place. YCaz are you settling in? Carole how is your arm? Nice of you to suggest I soak in the bath, but remember I am a complete klutz when it comes to exiting the bath in one piece. Much safer to shower. Purple Liz you are awfully quiet, are you OK? Eileen I'm still looking for the papers. . . . Deanna please look after yourself, you are NO idjeet, I have the monopoly on that LOL.
Went to tour the new school the kids will attend in September, principal was very cordial, took Gareth under control immediately . . . . Gail, sending hugs - - I'm heading to bed, cleaned up the lounge, may have someone drop in to pickup for Freeecycle in the morning, have to make a good impression. My ex son-in-law called my house a mausoleum, cheerful lump he is . . . Night all Mary

We had a lovely day shopping yesterday in Nottingham but didn't buy much! We tried stuff on but it wasn't calling buy me. H got some nice things for the new baby. I got some face foundation! We stopped off on the way home and had a carvery, late lunch. Delicious! I stoped at the shop on the way home to get Steve some tea then started to get ready to cook it for him. He had been waiting for us! Gone with out anything to eat until we got home. And was mad, but I don't get why. We have tea later than that normally. Off out he went to get something to eat. He was ages then come home, and went straight out to walk the dog, earlier than normal. Then comes in and starts letting out the odd comment. I couldn't be bothered to answer so he got the yes no treatment! Going to a friends 50th wedding anniversary party tonight, hope things are better by then. Taking my car to be looked at this morning. On the way to Liverpool a light and alarm came on saying engine fault. Could upset oh again if it's going to cost a lot to repair.
Mary have you got the deposit saved up yet? How cute those kids tried to help.
Liz you are quiet, are you okay? x
Dutch is at the Dr's tonight so sending thoughts to help her.xx
Clairejo where are you?
Alison my arm was fine yesterday untill bed time. Then it started to itch. Kept me awake a while. Don't know when I was bit but there are two holes in me.

May I sneak in on this thread? I have never done so before...and though I had seen the title and references to it, had not realised that so many people were on here (including some of those I met in Liverpool).
I get the keys for my new (rented) house tomorrow...and can't stop crying tonight, so sad that what i wanted , dreamt of, has not worked out. I know it is (another) new start...but I would give everything not to have to make it...
Thanks for listening ...just needed to say it out loud.

Hi Rose! Welcome to our thread. We all know that feeling of just sitting and crying. It does feel better to be able to say some things to someone on here, and get a reply. To know that someone understands the feeling of helplessness, and the other bad feelings. Time will help but thats not now! Hang in there. Things do get better. Good luck with your move and hope you soon settle into this place and like it. xx Nice to meet you in Liverpool by the way xx

Here I am Carole lol. Have been very busy here this week, Daughter was back in school tues but P had two weeks off. So have been on the train numerous times with him and doing things that make him a happy little boy, computer included so havnt been on too much in the daytime . He has been ok this week and I have too, finally beginning to understand him more in his actions not words, if only.Lots of fun and laughter. went out yesterday and bought him a paddling pool which he loves, he insisted that the dog go in with him and me as well which I just wouldnt have had either the energy or inclination to a few months ago. It seems really unusual to be having more good days than bad and for the moment still I am putting no pressure onmyself, just enjoying being happy. I have a few things in the pipeline as well, next month I am flying to Dublin on my own to see my best friend from uni, she has lived there for the past 7 years and I have said so many times that i want to go and visit and now I feel well enough to do so. going for two nights and will leave the children in hubbys capable hands. I am so exited although I have been to Ireland so many times as a child have never been to Dublin so cant wait. In September daughter and I are going to Corsica with my dad and his partner for a week, so will have been on a plane three times in ten months after not going on holiday for nine years. So all is well in my world at the moment. Am going to head off to bed in a minute but just wanted to come on with my news. I so enjoy reading about all your up times and beingthere for you in your down times. Eileen sending youlots of love and hoping that there are better times ahead foryou.xx Caz, read on Dutch's thread before that you are having trouble using the computer at the moment. I hope the pain will ease for you soon and if you are reading this I am sending you a big hug xx Mary, you know how much I admire you for all you do for your littlies, they are so lucky having you as a Grandma. I hope the fundraising for the dogs continues to be a huge sucess and the children come on leaps and bounds with there soon to be new friends. Lily, I dont know how busy you are at the moment but if there is any chance I could meet up with you for a cuppa when i am visiting, I would love that. Gail, hopingthis flu goes away soon and that you start to enjoy some better health, you really have had a horrible time of it this year with all this illness xxx To Colin, David and Ben, the guys on our thread sending you all love. Liz, so glad that you and your oh enjoyed Liverpool. It is a fantastic city, but I would say that, lol. Will post off the Echo and book on Monday. Hello to Ann glos, glad you both had such a lovely holiday enjoy yourself at the meet in wales. Carole, good on you for not rising to the bait with your hubby. You are entitled to have fun and not cook his blooming tea every night. Glad you and H enjoyed your shopping and that baby arrived safely. Hi to Alison, hope that you are ok. Deanna you are fab, Carole sends all your funny emails on and they dont half make me laugh. Please look after yourself xxx Rose, so nice to meetyou last week. I am sorry that youare feeling sad about your move, who knows what is round the corner for you in the future sometimes when we feel all is bad in our lives something new and wonderful turns up, i hope it does for you. Everyone on here is so lovely, Iam not sure quite how I would have got through the last few months without having such lovely friends on here to support me. So please come back again, just having somewhere you can say how you really feel does help, it means you are not alone xxxx Dutch glad you got to the docs, but next time you are home you have to visit one here. I will personally take you lol It cant be easy for you or the doc if you dont speak the same language. I really enjoyed spending time with you when you were home and was sorry to have missed your calls when you phoned. Hazel TH, so gladyou are finally on the move, hurrah, bout time, theyve kept you waiting around and now it s finally happening. Brilliant, I hope youwill be very happy in your new home and a new grandchild as well, lovely. Now as usual after my long and rambling messageI bet I have missed someone out, apologies youwill have to give me a big kick and I wont forget next time lol Right off to bed now, Sleep tight all Love Claire xxxxx

Hi Clairejo, will look forward to the parcel, please keep o.h. in a good mood by adding the c/o lol Makes my life easier! Thanks for passing the book and Echo on. Sadly have not had a response to the ad. We will be back in Liverpool sometime I am sure and will make sure I find time to meet up with you, Diane and anyone else in the locality. If we come it will be for at least ten days, not worth it otherwise. I am glad you are having some breaks to look forward to,enjoy spending time with your uni pal.
Carole, your o.h. is a bit like mine, gets stroppy over nothing, silly twits. Hope you had a good time at the party and he was in a better mood. I am quite tired so excuse me not sending messages to everyone, doesn't mean I don't care, just that my brain is tired. Have pm'd you Rose.
I can't believe a week ago we were in our hotel room in Liverpool and now I am back to the mundane and boring life here, times flies by too fast.
love to all Lizxxxxx

I am feeling really sick right now.We all went to the 5Km ride/cycle for autism, at Merritt Island, which is in the middle of my town,Welland, surrounded by water of course.. As we were about to leave, they announced a child was missing, a 10 year old boy with autism has vanished from the island, apparently he was riding a bike and somehow became separated from the pack.
We stayed about half hour driving round looking at the waters edge, but saw nothing, and had to bring S&G home as they were both having meltdowns, exhausted, as were the rest of us. I have to leave for work in an hour, but I wish I could go back and help. Considering my aching joints I feel amazed that I completed the 5 Km route.
Please keep Liam and his family in your thoughts and prayers. I literally feel ill. Mary

Hi
I recieved 3 certs today. My 3xgreat grandmother died of cancer of the uterus in 1896. She had quite a colourful life as she moved from Oxfordshire to Essex via Spalding and London. Her birth cert also arrived. She was born on Christmas Day 1842.
