Have had a few of these myself. Some people must have nothing to do with their time! We are also with Freeserve and have all our spam put straight into the Junk Mail Bin! Maggy

SCAM/SCAM/SCAM, get them all the time i just bounce them back to sender so it looks like my email is wrong and that sorts it havent had any since. good luck.

If all these scams just happened to be true, I'd be a millionaire by now, and I think I am related to half of the African and Asian Continenets. I just delete the lot. Liz

These scams seem to be coming thick and fast at the moment i am having at least 3 a day .I dont even open them you never know if they contain virus,s anyway.Just get rid . Val from a very wet but humid Kent

Natalie Just agreeing with everyone else that this is definitely a scam. I get loads of them every week - not at home but at work, and I work in a school so goodness only knows how they get through the filter. Mandy :)

Forward it to your service provider and ask them to take action. Freeserve sorts them for me and writes SPAM on them so that I can delete straight away. XX Dave

It's the 419 scam. Been going for so many years now that I can't remember how many. There is NO vast fortune in US dollars or any other currency. Never has been and never will be. So do as the others say - and delete it.

If this was a legit email he would'nt have used the word "KID" instead of child!!!! Infact there are loads of mistakes - especially if this is written by a barrister.

Hello Nat, This is definitely a confidence scam. I've received hundreds of these over the past two years, claiming relationships with virtually every past dictator in Africa and many other parts of the world, and offering me squillions of pounds or dollars. When I spoke to the local police some 18 months ago, they said that GB forces were trying to liaise with police authorities in the countries concerned, but had virtually give up in the face of indifference and corruption in the foreign police forces concerned. Although there are probably many other gangs now involved, the original ones all seemed to be Nigerian. Anyway, their advice was to delete any such messages, and under no circumstances to reply. Apparently one or two victims had replied, and the intention of the gang is to gain access to your bank account details and then raid it! Beware! Philip

A real solicitor would send a letter on headed notepaper to your address. An address is used normally before an e mail. Also the amount would not be disclosed before the solicitor confirms that you are the person to benifit. A scam Elaine :o)) x

I am currently getting about 5 of these every week. Just get rid.
