They have to make you aware that there is an epidemic of it rather than just your case.... hence the council involvement!! Hope you are feeling better now babe!! D

glad to hear it lisa. as i've mentioned before we have a butchers shop and a few weeks ago our sat boy had food poisioning and although he was on holiday in dorset for 8 days before he got it we still had to be investigated to see if we were the source so it makes me really mad to see that they say they can't prove it. by the way we weren't the source it was a tuna sarnie, there i've had my moan for the day, karen

Lisa

Lisa Report 7 Oct 2004 15:05

karen i had chicken on that night in my curry.they have said they have investigated the chinese but this could happen anytime.they could have underccoked my meat.putting my health and others health at risk should be taken seriously as others could be effected aswell.maybe i should have another curry and see what happens!!xxx(:

excatly lisa they seem to be strict on us butchers with regard to raw and cooked meat(rightly so) but not on other things.my mum had a curry a few weeks ago and it was prawns which resulted in her being bad for over two weeks but again nothing can be proved. i wouldn't have another curry at least not from the same place--by the way let me know which one and i won't go there

Lisa

Lisa Report 7 Oct 2004 15:13

i had prawns in my spring roll but i can't see it being that as i would have been worse as fish poisoning is not nice to have.xxxx(:
