My daughter at 15 says she is too old now for trick or treat and asked to have some friends around tonight to watch a scaryDVD. Except one of the girls doesn't do scary so they have somehting else. But...... before they went to watch the DVD they have put halloween night lights and lamps outside the house, a big spider and web on the door and got the sweets ready. Everytime there is a knock on the door the whole lot come thundering down the stairs - there are 3 girls with dainty ???? feet and 2 lads, one of whom wears size 14 shoes!!! I did offer her a party tonight but again ' she has outgrown that sort of thing'! Luckily we live in an area where I or my daughter know all the children who call. So far tonight about 8 callers in groups of 3 - 8. They are having such great fun (those in the house and out of it!) and it is good to see so much preperation going into something. They only call at houses where there are children which I think is good. Jacky :-)
