Its just come to me The Girl with the Sun in her hair. Wasnt it for less than half a crown on the original 1001 ad Our Henry (Cooper) doing the Brut ad, I like that. Frank Muir doing everyone is a fruit and nutcase, I think that was to the sugar plumb fairy. Pat x

Considering that if my memory is correct, a good weeks wages was about £20-30 they were still not all that cheap....a servis supertwin tub was about £110
