Bren, The eye was great, I didn't feel ill, I really enjoyed it, I want to go on it again on a clear day. How long is it there for? Wasn't it nice of Dilys to drop in for a drink before going on to another meeting. June xx

Andy Report 2 Dec 2004 22:16

think I might come back again in the run up to Christmas if only for the gluhwein, mmmm! Fell asleep for most of the journey back, luckily managed to wake up in time in order to get off at Darlington, lol. Yep, need a clear day for the Manchester Eye but still good fun nonetheless.

It certainly was a day to remember, I enjoyed meeting Malc too, how lucky for us that he had business in Manchester on that day, he's such a nice fella. Thanks to Keith for ferrying us around again, he's a real gent!! The malicious person that cancelled our meal at the Chinese actually did us a favour, our lunch was superb. And Dilys Granny Mommylegs popped in on her way to another arrangement, I hope I meet her again, she's lovely, in fact it was a very nice group, Bev another newcomer was great fun. Thanks to Andy oop North and Paul for going up in the Manchester Eye with me. You can tell I enjoyed myself, cant stop talking about it. June xx

We had a great laugh though didnt we? I loved the Waterhouse - it was enchanting - all the different rooms and that gorgeous big book case upstairs - interesting selection of books in it though. I think the people who were looking into our room really wanted to join cos we were all enjoying ourselves. Still cant believe Paul had a 'roo burger lol it did smell lovely
