I realised after I'd posted my message that you weren't 'true' Northamptonians, but it was too late by then! The place has changed so much that when we spent a couple of days clearing out mum's garage for her a few months ago we drove round for ages looking for the tip and finally had to go to the police station at Weston Favell to ask for directions!! How sad is that?!! Happy New Year to you all - wherever you come from!! Sue |

You're right Sue this place is changing all the time and at this rate I'll be having to ask for directions myself just to go shopping.. LOL I believe it was once a nice little town but gradually they have built it up and out :-( Its sad too that there isnt a whole lot of history about the place either, its as if they get rid of any building over the age of 50! The town actually had a Castle which figures quite a bit in British History but all that is left of it now is two large stones and a doorway :-( Shaz x |
