I'll be there, but my friends, who know how good I am at getting up, have asked to look after the stall over lunch. Come up and say hello to me on the East Surrey stall, before you depart on your round of pleasure. Cinders

Phoenix

Phoenix Report 10 Jan 2005 18:31

Shelli Isn't closed for refurbishment at the moment? At the best of times, I don't think we meet on the late opening evenings. I'm not as up to date as I might be, and can't remember if we still have a space there where we keep exchange journals, or if they've been hived off to the depths of Lingfield. If we do still keep stuff in Sutton Library, then there will be East Surrey members there from time to time. Alternatively, the person to speak to at the library is Kath Shawcross. And sorry, I didn't reply to you on another thread, did I? B

Brenda Sutton reopened last week, and from what i can gather the local studies room is now open the same times as the rest of library. Which is SO much better than the rubbish times they used to open. The reason i asked was when i used to go there, there was often a volunteer from East Surrey, and i wondered if it had ever been you. In other words we'd already met but not realised LOL Kath Shawcross is wonderful isn't she? Unfortunately none of mine orginate from the local area, but i use th BMD fiche and until they closed i used electrol rolls to give me some idea of date of deaths
