I've posted before about my joint pain and for a while it went away but it's back today and I'm in agony. Have had blood tests, x-rays and seen a specialist and noone can tell me what it is, therefore noone can help me :-( Today my wrists, knees (really bad!), elbow and ankles are so so sore. Don't think there's anything anyone can do but some sympathy might help... Becx :-(

Ice packs/peas etc don't work :-( The only thing that's ever worked is when I was on prescription painkillers which were so strong that I ended up sleeping all the time and eventually became dependent on them :-( becx :-(

Bec could you possibly have this? fibromyalgia why not ask your doctor...my friend was diagnosed with this, its hard to spot FMS (fibromyalgia syndrome) is a widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue disorder for which the cause is still unknown. Fibromyalgia means pain in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons – the soft fibrous tissues in the body Elaine x

Hi Bec, Sorry you are feeling so rough. If your joints are hot and swollen you really should use Ice packs, (make sure they are wrapped in cloth first to prevent ice burns!) You should persist with the Doc, even if the first round of tests were inconclusive. I had to, and although I didn't find my diagnosis, when I got it!!!, a ball of laughs. At least it meant I could get effective treatment. In the mean time REST. Suex

Bec, From a holistic point of view your Joints represent changes in direction in life and the ease in which you make these movements. I know thats of little comfort when your hurting, but have a little think about it, question yourself as to whats happening / has changed in your life. Is there something thats painful to think about or something that makes you feel scared or nervous? You need to confront such issues and embrase them. Emotional issues have a big way of becoming physical issues. With your permission I can send you absent healing to try help ease some of the pain. Hope you feel better soon *hugs* Sioux

hi bec, sorry your in such pain, horrid is'nt it. sometimes, with joint pain, and inflamation, the cause can be in other parts of the body..such as spinal chord..discs..and the base of the head.......i would suggest a visit to a chiropractor, they are experts on every bone/joint in the body. get well soon...bryan xxx.
