Thanks everyone My main concern is that this is stress-related. Yes my life is stressful but I'm so young (22) and should be able to cope with things. Thank you for all your ideas and information, I will look into it all and if you'd like update you on what happens. Love becx

Thanks Linda and Nichola My main frustration is that I'm a control freak and this is one instance when I lose all control. My body is hurting and I can't do anything to stop it. The pain has eased now but I will still go and see my GP tomorrow and explain everything. thanks everyone for your kind words, they mean a lot Love becx

I sympthize Bec,i have pain in both my shoulders because the surgeons took a vein from the chest wall for the bypass which sometimes leads to shoulder problems ,and i was one of the sometimes.I also have a good bit of arthritis in the neck and legs ,but yours sounds far worse,at least i can get some relief. It's okay getting into a hot bath[bliss] but when you get out ,it seems to be worse than ever,i'm afraid you will have to grin and bear it until they find out what's causing it.Fred.ptfg.

Your welcome Bec I hope you feel better soon, for the time being keep dosing yourself up with painkillers. If you take paracetomol and Ibeobrufen together that will help as Ibeobrufen is an anti-inflamatory and can be taken with paracetomol. Don't take a combined one as the effects is not as good, I suffer with really bad migraines and I always take them separetly as it's better. take care Nicola xx

Bec I agree with Elaine I have FMS and its very painful it used to be called fibrositis I have been through alot of trauma with my mum getting sick and I was complaining that my shoulders were sore and the top of my arms and I was in real agony and I thought it was from moving all Mums furniture etc ,but it continued on and I realised it was more than that I then got a letter re another matter and it mentioned FMS and I laughed as they are my hubbies initials so I clicked on this link and lo and behold all my symptoms exactly and the reasons can be trauma or a virus and it all fitted I had blood tests for another type of arthritis but it too was negative . there are sites for arthriis and they will tell you all about it and some good books to read I know the pain you have and send my love and sympathy keep your chin up Love Laraine
