Ralphie had a major emergency operation not long before Xmas :-( He is a lot better now and has bounced back really well :-) <3

He suddenly became ill, Mersey.... not been able to say what was wrong it was a matter of doing tests......they thought it could be gastroenteritis, an infected prostate or pancreatis but when all the tests for those came back negative they did a scan.
They could see there was a problem in his intestines but couldn't make out if he had eaten something or they was something else there. It turned out he had a tumour in his caecum (the bit that joins the colon to the small intestine)which had ruptured. Fortunately he was on strong pain killers but it was a matter of operating there and then or having him put down :-(
