Well this no longer young person had another visitor this morning, a different district nurse who tock a blood sample.

So in recent weeks I've been visited by two different GP's, one of whom told me my left leg is "fused" something the surgeons never told me, and two different district nurses.
Am I in God's waiting room ? :-S

I am not in the "over 70's" age bracket ... I am 71! Surely "over 70's" means older than 79!


I use special transport to go shopping. While it continues to be available and I am (reasonably) well I will keep shopping, (when I need food, medicine or other essentials).

I don't consider myself to be at high risk, or to pose a risk to others.

If I am really bored weather (and health) permitting, I will go for a walk in the local park.

I can keep my distance from other people will I get out and see the sky, pool, flowers, birds etc. without actually touching anything, or leaving my mark in any way. Might just give a friendly wave of my walking stick to other people.

(When) and if the virus becomes more widespread I will stay indoors. I will also try to organise home deliveries from one of the supermarkets. One of my (not so healthy) friends has put her order in today ... first available delivery date is 7th April. Perhaps I need to pull my finger out and get home delivered put in place now. (or when I have had a good nights sleep and put my brain in order).

Saw our Sovereign and Philip are now at Windsor. Philip looked far

from well. Prince William is to be the Royal presence until it goes away.

RTR I just ignore him. lol.

Had my shopping delivered yesterday and although I am grateful to have had a delivery I had 17 items unavailable. Ok so most I could live without for a while BUT no BREAD and POTATOES were available.

I suppose I should consider my self lucky I do have toilet rolls.

I have been talking to my sister in law

She was married to our youngest brother who sadly passed 5 years ago and we are good friends

I know she was adopted as was her sister I did tell her she was entitled to see her adoption file for its info .She has no idea of her birth mum and very little ancestral info on her adopted parents so I am doing a tree for her for both sides of the family

She is over the moon I am doing this for her

Hit a block ok her dads birth,thought i had found a possible but not sure so sent for their 1951 marriage cert that has led me back to them and the 1939 register

Soo I am off on the hunt now for more family history for her :-D

It will be passing time whilst i am in lockdown
