Steady on fast cats I was on holiday with my married sisters and their families I think I was taken along purely as a babysitter and I did so, its was the summer of 1984 and red hot summer , it was the first time I ever placed a bet and won £35.00 on the donkey derby I was delighted I was very well behaved in them days ....I had my sisters breathing down my neck :-|

I did get taken along to the midnight show thing and saw Joe whatshiname did a fantasic Shirley Bassey ... :-D

Alot of 60's bands were on at the time Termmaloes and freddie and the dreamers but packed houses loads of entertainment as I remember :-D

Well done Sue...looked in most days..not always posted as dont know S Wales much and never been to Barry.loved St David's ,parts of Pembroke ..Tenby etc.
This has kept a lot of us amused....especially living here and experiencing some of the situations described.
