Afternoon all, I am holed up in the office again !!! Trying to get some sorted before Brownies tonight.

Hi all, it's been a strange day (weather wise), we've had heavy rain, sunshine, blue sky, grey sky, black clouds, and then back to sunshine with strong cold winds. The only thing we didn't have was snow.

Wonder if i need to get my bridesmaid dress out of the loft again.

It was lovely this afternoon after this morning's rain, so we spontaneously decided to go out. Not a good move. The first choice of destination was supposed to be 2 miles south of BG. In your dreams! 6 miles later after navigating narrow winding country single track lanes, covered in mud from tractor tyres we arrive. Get out of the car, dropping my handbag in the mud in the process, to discover it is closed. Our fault – didn’t check the book as it is shut from October and I’d picked it out while it was still September. OK then. We’ll go to another near by property where they have a decent café. We’ve been there before but the tree foliage should be changing colour about now. Roll up into the car park. Hmm, this is good, not many cars/visitors. Get to the entrance to find that they are closed Wednesday and Thursday. Grr.

At least we had a nice drive out in the Weald (sound like my parents lol) bought 5lb of cooking apples for £1 from outside a house (money in the box please) and found a lovely old pub which was still open. Coffee for him, a single glass of wine for me (which I had to sleep off when we got home – lol)

Oh, DET, you are not fit to be let loose!! AND, you are as bad as me for sleeping after one glass!!

LOL what are you like. I drink and I am giggling so much you would not believe.

morning all well its forcast sunshine for a few days so will make the most of it me thinks
I have an induction beginning this afternoon lots to read apparently but will get paid from now on so not so bad .
had a church meeting last nibght so trying to write up my notes and diary dates as i remember them

Lovely here today so washing is already out and blowing in the SUN!!! I had almost forgotten what that was LOL
