Afternoon all, sitting here at desk supposidly doing some admin for Brownies. It is absolutely chucking it down here,I got soaked through just walking in from the car.

Glad ask the nutters will be ok from now on as I may need some foreign emigrates looked up soon. I am still trying to get my record cards up to date 100 or so down 100's to go LOL

just read the reply great work was beginning to panic then lol I am plouging through the free stuff available to plot my rellies and At addresses its amazing what there is around but they all die in the 1881 black hole lol and some of the look ups ares they tell me where they were on the list lol
What is worrying is how many of my rellies were publicans lol

LOL Maz I have a few publicans too. Also got 2 Private Detectives that is where I inherit my nosiness LOL

Well thank goodness for GRs e-mail. I spent ages reading the T&Cs and couldn't find a thing. Confusion at my age is not good!!!

But why, if someone is reporting threads as being abusive, don't GR read the thread before deleting. They surely don't need to go back too far to see whether there is a problem.

Well I think I must be thick as well because I don't understand how look-ups could be classed as being abusive. Why would anyone think they were?

Private Detectives LG, that would come in handy now, they could have helped us find our missing rellies. I think we've all got some that disappeared off the face of the earth.

I've Starred the email and intend to keep it, just in case there are futher problems. I don't think they bother to read the thread, or the reported post, just press the delete button.

Although we know you don't drink, why are you ashamed of Publicans? OH's grt grandfather had a beer hall near to where he lived as a child. The local librarian wrote a book about the 'lost pubs' where he was refered to. Not many publicans actually owned their pubs.

The majority of mine are plain old Ag labs, graduating to Labs in Victorian times!

Work is not so bad at the moment Maz. Busy, but enjoying what I am currently working on. Only down side was a new regulation regarding incoming post that came out today and I nearly 'flipped my lid' in the team meeting. I think I left them with no doubts as to what I thought about it!!

Hurry up with that Ark, Pauline. It is going to be needed in the nether regions!!!!

Lucky you !!!!. It has turned chilly now too. Still trying to find a missing family on 1881 census they have all dissappeared.

It's chilly here too, but am using a sweater! No way is the heating going on until October lol! I could still lose the winter fuel payment yet and that won't be funny.

I am not putting mine on yet either. Loss of the fuel payment will not be good will it. I have cut down costs by switching off the rads in the unused bedrooms and keeping the doors shut. I open them for just a little while each day just to air them off.

I haven't got any spare rooms lol!!

The bill was bad enough last year and I struggled to keep the place warm. Found out when they came to check the radiator in the lounge that it was set at no 2, but noone had told me that the temperature control was in the base of the gas fire!! It will be turned up this year, so hopefully if it gets warmer I won't need it on quite as much.

We just wack it on and worry about the cost afterwards LOL. OH works in the cold all day so likes to come home and toast himself. I just sling on an extra jumper when he's not here cos I am hot blooded LOL. I don't feel the cold very much only if I am not well.

I am off to bed now so nite nite sleep well.x

I've sent the Ark on it's way south, we don't need it up here..........for a change!

It's nice and cosy in the throne room, I've put the heating on - just in case it gets cold during the night.
