Men!! OH finished his packing, one small bag for five days.

Looked at me strangely when I suggested a few items he just might find handy to pack. Like maybe his pyjamas, and a belt and a his phone charger, and his thongs instead of his slippers for when he needs to go outside for a smoke.

Now he has too small bags for five days. Still refuses to use the suitcase. Oh well one bag has wheels and he can balance the other on top of it.

Perhaps he was hoping to just have a 'carry on' bag??

D'ya know Maz, I have seen loads 'wanted' ads for portable tvs, including crt tvs, but no-one was interested in this one. It's gone now to rest in tv heaven!!

Have just been lost in the programme about Matt Munro. What a voice! I love him to bits!!

My Dad used to love him too. I grew up with the sound of his voice. Not my taste in music though.

He is not someone I would listen to regularly, but his voice is so smooth and his songs are great for chilling out!! Perhaps it also brings back lovely memories of Mum cos she adored him!!

Anyway, there is no comparison between your favourites and him. They are just so different!

Morning all. Things are buzzing around here this morning. Getting ready to take OH to the tip, whoops sorry the airport. Then I'm off to the big city for a day in the genealogy place.

I'll tell you of my adventures this evening. OK I won't!!! But I will be yahooing if I find anything.

Oh I will behave, almost. I haven't had a real day in town for ages. And I promise I will walk past the fire station, and the police station and the lingerie shop for pyjamas and and nether garments, and look in on the shop which sells red and whte sporting gear, not to mention the very best chocolate place, I will stand at the door there and breath in the smells. I will see if the second hand good place is taking old TVs and ask the counsellor lady why frogs visit at 5.00 am. Then I will go spend my voucher at the bookshop and eventually end up at the genealogy library where I will ask lots and lots of really dumb questions and they will take pity on me and give me lots of help. I will find somewhere interesting to have lunch, go back to the library and then finally come home to discover how much of the house Spot has destroyed because he has been on his own all day.
