Feeling a bit......well, you know. A few years ago, I got into the poetry writing thing - seem to be only able to write about our family property, which I loved and didn't want to leave, as did my Dad and my sister. The poems all run along the same line, which appears to have become prophetic! I've never been happy with the last 4 lines of this one though - seems clumsy. |

Thanks for the crossing of body parts, Perse - don't get a cramp! |

The only thing that will get cramp will be my style - it's got a permanent pleat in it. |

Have you crossed your extremities Allan or will that interfere with your radar? |

Yes, we do have stinging nettles here, Linda. Thankfully, I have never been stung by any and I don't think I have ever seen them - but they do exist! |

It's cancer, but highly unusual for breast cancer to go down into the stomach apparently - no, I don't feel special. I have to see a radiation oncologist next week to see if it can be "radiated". Depending on what he says, I shall at some stage be going back on chemo. Sigh. I did ask him in a hopeful tone "It's not a hairball is it?" Alas, no. So we're still up in the air really. Have to have more scans next week. Why don't I have normal cancers? mutter mutter mutter |

Alison - I am somewhat relieved to know that they are still looking for ways to treat you, rather than to tell you there is nothing more they can do. |

No Barbra, haven't heard of that one. I'm not a great drinker of beer - except on a very hot day. Haven't had any beer for a couple of years - I usually opt for wine, if anything, these days. That's what old age does to you! |
