Morning ladies, gawd my old knees are giving me some jip this morning, they're really achey. Got to take my evening primrose oil and my cod liver oil in a minute. Apart from that I'm ok, kept waking a lot last night and had very vivid dreams. Not nice dreams either, isn't it a relief when you wake and realise that they're just dreams, but for a nano second it's awful!

Bright and sunny here, but quite a fresh breeze.

Pam ,
I have been having funny dreams lately......I seldom dream but these are weird ones, must be the wine consumption .
Last night I had cramp in each leg, doesn't it make you feel sick when you jump out of bed to straighten them out.

I think that is due to wine.....but it wont stop me from drinking it LOL

Afternoon everyone.
Just having a sit while I wait for the floors to dry.No-one had better walk on them until they are dry.........or else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.They will be for the high jump.
I enjoy most of my dreams ,they are usually completely barking lol.
Last night Marilyn I dreamt of the Mew Stone and HMS Cambridge.I was showing some old lady around, and have no idea who she was.
(Marilyn will know what I'm talking about as I used to live where she lives now)

Now it feels really warm outside, the wind earlier made it feel a bit chilly. So mops away.I'll go and pull a few more weeds.OH is cleaning out the summer house, which will be nice as in the winter it just gets full of C**p.

I was freezing when I went to bed last night, an hour later boiling, so duvet down, legs akimbo and nightie up to catch some cooler air!! Does anyone else find that getting out to go to the loo brings a flush on??? I dread having to move sometimes, cos I know what will happen!!

Jane

Jane Report 18 Apr 2009 16:33

I seem to be following you around Ann.I never have to get up in the night for a wee.But yes I think any time I wake ,especially in the morning ,it seems to set everything in motion and those hormones seem to go mad for a while.

Jane Report 18 Apr 2009 17:32

A B,I don't sleep through the night,I just don't need to go for a wee.I wake with the sweats sometimes and drink a gallon of water .In the drawer next to my bed I keep a can of magicool spray and a flappy fan. It's a bit difficult spraying in the dark as I can't always find the spray hole ,and sometimes OH gets a shot lol

Oh, Ladies , the best thing I think I had happen to me ,was a "hysto",
I dont get any symptoms at all now, mind you I had the lot before hand!
Take a flask of iced water to bed with you, that will stop the sweats.
and If it doesnt, chuckit over your OH!
why should you suffer alone?LOL

Good evening ladies

Lovely afternoon here in Bristol, a little on the chill side but then it is still early spring.

Helen, I was dreaming of ships last night - I wonder if we "met up" in dream world lol!

Had a bad night last night think it was dreaming of boats that did it, had the niagara falls - those of you who suffer the wee walks will hopefully understand! I would not mind, but it does not matter how much or little I drink, if anything its worse when I cut down on fluids. Arrrghhh!

Hope this thread does not get whooosed as so many have over the past couple of days. Think I might C&P it so it can go straight back on lol

Hello Pam and all,

I have read about half of this thread and find it fascinating.I will be 43 this year and am suffering awful PMT, so much so that it almost incapacitates me for several days. What i would like to know is does PMT and its severity have a bearing on the menopause?

My periods are becoming more irregular but i have no other symptoms yet, apart from this awful PMT and tiredness.

Hello Caz

Welcome to the Ladieeeeeeeeeees thread lol.

Sorry I cannot help you on that one, I did not suffer badly with PMT. Whether that has a beariing on what kind of menopause you get, dont know either. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

I don't know about that Caz,I know I was very unpleasant to live with ,and I had horrendous periods. After years of putting up with being housebound for a few days each month ,I went to get myself sorted .Had the Mirena coil fitted.Wonderful.it changed my life.I can still be a grumpy old woman though lol

Hello girls, hope you're all okay. Glad you like our thread Caz. I'm 54 in May and used to get a bit of PMT...well only stabbed my hubby the once! I'm only kidding! But I did get a bit jittery and just generally strung out before my monthly started and it used to last about a week. I had my last proper one about the end of october last year, and a slight show in January but nothing since then. So maybe it is the on set Caz, but not really sure. I know when I went to my surgery about the extreme tiredness I was prescribed iron tabs and they did a blood test and was told I was a bit aenemic.

Hope we don't get whooshed...why do threads get whooshed? Is it cos of a lot of bad language? If it is we'd better ban Helen!! LOL! ☺
