Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 766 Send Message	Ages were rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5 on the 1841 census so somebody aged 40-45 should have been registered as 40. Anyone under 15 should have the correct age. However, some enumerators rounded the children and some gave the unrounded age for adults. Wonder if this is William in 1851 (I do wonder if all the ages were rounded in 1841 - the children being 15, 10 and 5 seems a bit too neat).
