heres the marriage for Annie and William confirming that she's most probably related to Mary Ann: Marriages Jun 1878 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bays  William Frederick    Bethnal Green  1c 513   Dowsett  Sarah Jane    Bethnal Green  1c 513   Farr  Annie Victoria    Bethnal Green  1c 513   MIDDLEBROOK  Henry    Bethnal Green  1c 513 I do think it strange that the 1881 classes her as visitor rather than sister

Hi Zoe Thanks again. I think I will order the cert for Annie and William Bays just to be sure. I agree that visitor is an odd thing to put. If she was 20 when she got married then hopefully her exact age will be on the cert and I can really get looking for her birth. Lynne
