an old map on Curious fox its always been known as Chatham Hill and New road like you said. Jeanette |

There is an old map from 1869 available on the old maps website http://www.old-maps.co.uk which shows a few building just east of the railway arches which could be New Road or Chatham Hill. Is that the area where the pub is located. I find it amazing that there is a pub in Chatham that I have not been to. Now I know why I failed geography. Pete |
