Mind you..strange he marries a Helen Hope also..!

Diane

Diane Report 12 Sep 2008 12:49

I have the death Certificate for Honora Fuller
It dose say Widow of the late John Ensor Hope Fuller
but this information is only as good as the person that gave it.
As it was both the son John and daughter Eileen, they would have thought he had been married to they mother.
I dont think he every was, as on his marriage cert to Ellen in 1827 it says widow and Honora was still alive, so he must have been refering to his fist wife Helen form 1880.

A marriage between a Hope and a Fuller...thats where he took the Fuller from.?..er?..understand what I mean?

I was thinking

but there is

Marriages Dec 1848

CRIPES_A_MIGHTY Report 12 Sep 2008 13:17

But im looking at the whole picture..trying to work out what is what and why is why.
I was putting up a possible answer for why it says widow on the marriage cert.
Saying maybe Ellen was a widow..rather than it refering to Honoria. Hence I was looking for a possible reason for Ellen being a widow if possible..and yes she could have been..if that marriage is hers.

Diane

Diane Report 12 Sep 2008 13:24

Boogie,
Your making me largh now you really are getting in to it.
It says John Ensor Hope Fuller widow on his 1927 marriage cert and as Honora was surpose to be his second wife and she was still alive in 1927 he must mean his first wife Helen of 1880
So that makes me belive he was not married to Honora at all or he tells lies.

Diane - I know you cannot find the marriage but something to bear in mind - Just because he said he was a widow does not mean it is true.
