Comparing the FMP 1939 record of Doris and son William, and the Ancestry image, FMP indicates 5 people in the household, with Doris listed after her son, in the transcription posted by ErikaH.

Ancestry's image only indicates four people - two closed records before young William's line, and one closed record after him.

The first two closed records should be his parents, and the one below William is probably his sister, although normally she would be listed before him, as she was older.
