	Assuming he married in Derbyshire, there are a number of John Hollis marriages 1902-22. I went onto the main page then on the right hand side to "Know your Ancestor better" and then followed the link to the FreeBMD site. I'm sorry this is new to me and I'm not that brilliant with technology Thank you

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 10 621 Send Message	https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates (apologies cut the url off too early before) Register or Login - Register initially and then you can just login each time you use. you can only look for births and deaths using this site but you will get mmn from Q3 1837 to1917 when this site ends at present and age at death Q3 1837 - 1957 Only problem is the site gives age at death in years BUT it can't distinguish weeks/months so if you know a child died at 2 months old it would show as 2 years! You can order birth and death certificates through the site at a reduced cost of £6 if you're happy with a pdf version to download yourself. For bmd's Q3 1837 to c 1970's use https://www.freebmd.org.uk/search gives mmn fro Q3 1911 and age at death from c1866

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 12 337 Send Message	Looking back on this post, I noticed that in the 1881 census I posted ( 16 Jun 2018 22:01) for William Hollis and Emily MS Meredith, there is this young boy. John G Carbury Grand Son Single Male 3 1878 Blackwell, Derbyshire, England - Transcription This is his birth CARBERY, JOHN GEORGE HOLLIS Order GRO Reference: 1877 D Quarter in MANSFIELD Volume 07B Page 64 and sadly, he dies 3rd qtr 1881. But these look to be his parents James and Emma Carberry who are witnesses to the marriage of William Hollis and Mary Ann Green which means William and Emma were siblings.
