There are also quite a number of Ann (or variation) Ryans born in the years surrounding 1841 in Kilkenny.

I don't see any with the middle name Norah.

There are also a few Honorah Ryans.

Thank you very much for these. Unfortunately, I do no think they are correct.


Her marriage certificate states that her father's name is Patrick and he is a carpenter.

Neither Ancestry not irishgenealogy.ie show any marriage for an Ann Norah Ryan in Kilkenny.

Who did she marry, please? and when?

However, there's still no sign of an Ann Norah's birth, unfortunately.

Where did you see Carpenter for Patrick, 1883 (London, Ancestry) states Labourer for his occ.

(oh, now seeing was 1861 Marriage (1st July, Residence at time for both, St. Marylebone) (notes a Mary Ann Ryan as witness)
