Have found a Dahlia Pole and Arthur Warner married, hope this is their son, I am
trying to find a tree match or someone who can help. The person I am researching is Dahlia, she has been put on some trees as daughter of my Gt Grandfather Charles Pole, only on say of 1891 census when they are visitors of John Pole. I have not been aware of Dahlia and not heard her spoken of by my family, if she is of course I would like to include her on my tree

may be St Peters Belgrave. Leicester.

Who did Charles marry please? Are Charles, Beatrice and Jack children of Charles 1854?

Sorry thinking ahead and not typing who Reginald C Warner is, I think he is the son of

dahlia who married an Arthur Warner. Wonder is they could have married at

St Peters Belgrave Leicester.

Have just received message Charles, Beatrice and Ethel are children of Charles
Henry and Lucy Ludlam. Dahlia has been added as their child on some members trees and when contacted have said its because she is down as granddaughter of John Pole on the 1891 census. They are down as visitors, my query is that John has other children and Dahlia could be their daughter.

The 1911 above has Rosetta as being a widow and having been married for 30 years. Here she is in 1891 as single and staying with her sister.

I can't find a marriage of Rosetta Pole to a Mr Pole so I wonder if she was just saying she had been widowed?

A tree on Ancestry says that Dahlia Pole (1881-1966) married Alfred Ernest Warner (1888-1968) and had son Reginald Cyril Warner (1914-1991).

It says that Dahlia was the daughter of Rosetta Pole (1860-1930) and that Rosetta was the daughter of John Pole (1829-1907)

Charles Henry Pole married Lucy Ludlam, they had Charles1881, Beatrice 1883 and ethel 1885.

Why not send for her birth certificate?

It seems that Dahlia did marry Alfred Ernest Warner and not Arthur.

Thanks MargaretM I think you may have hit the nail on the head so as to speak, I have wondered for some time if she was.

Rosetta I will look on previous census but I'm sure I have found her on before and she if John and Martha's daughter, that being so she would be Rosetta Pole.

And Reginald's birth cert will confirm his parents' names:
