I am looking for the parents of my 3 x great grandfather Henry Emile Drake born 1817 in Bath, Somerset - 1885 Bermondsey, London. Henry was married to Maryan Stuart born 1821 in Scotland. Henry and Maryan having 12 children:

I have Henrys father's name as a possible Ernle Drake, this could be a mistake though?

I have been looking for quite some time and so hoping maybe someone else may have some information or more ability than I to find his parents.

Any information on the Drake family from Devon, Bath and London would be of interest too.

Have you looked on familysearch ?

Looking at his occupation of boatman coast guard in 1851 he could well have been in Scotland for the 1841 census

Just been through every batch of christenings listed as Bath on Hugh Wallis Batch Numbers and not found anything

Also did the marriage batches and not found any christian name, or anything similar, as given on marriage record

Really need some info from the marriage cert
