Seems that findmypast(.com) is also collating various death records for recent years. |

The records have been supplied from a commercial tracing company which provides services to clean up databases. This company Wilmington Millennium compiles the data in what they called the Grey Power Database from various sources such as Funeral Directors, Obituary Notices, Insurance companies & other derived sources. None of this information comes from the GRO or Register Offices. The databases covers only around 45% of the deaths and from comments made elsewhere has a lot of errors. |
