I've just seen a death for Myrtle G. Willard in a tree on Ancestry. The death is given as 10 Nov 1924 in Wayne, Michigan. There's also a marriage to Anna in 1926 in Wayne, Michigan, so it looks as though I\we are on the right track. The info is on a couple of trees but the children of Harry/Henry and Myrtle and Anna are private - have sent off requests. One tree also shows a death for Anna in 1952 in Michigan but no details. There are also no marriage details so I don't have Anna's surname before marriage but going back to Margee's comment at the beginning of this thread, Anna could've been married before. It's so confusing. |

There are also attestation papers for Henry Huggard Oliver who was born 25 May 1871, Guelph. He gives name of next-of-kin as wife Isabel Emma Oliver, 9 Strange St., Guelph. He enlisted 27 Dec. 1915. |

Just to confuse things further, a tree on Ancestry says that Myrtle Willard's sister, Ethel Mildred (Millie) married Henry Oliver's brother, William Francis. The poster must have a close connection, there are photos of Midred & William Francis and also of their son Kenneth Henry Oliver. |

Thanks Margee. I've contacted a couple of people with trees on Ancestry so it'll be interesting to see what they come back with. Considering I had almost nothing to go on when I started this, it's now becoming quite a picture thanks to you. Harold Marshall Oliver still remains a bit of a mystery though - wish I could find his death. |

in 1940, Harold and brother Wilbur are listed separately from their parents. I mean, they're in the same household, but listed out of sequence, on another page. |

Thanks ArgyllGran. It's strange that they're on a different page - maybe in the US they add people who usually live in the household. Since it's 1940 do you think they could both be in the military? I know that Harold M. joined the military and was in the UK where he met and married his wife in 1944. |
