Mike, not sure what site Chris posted the 1861 census from, the image definitely gives Peter's age as 3 and 13 on 1871, so b1858.

Could i ask for further help as i have looked without success for Cuthbert Fazakerly 1767 he married Ann Berley 23/11/1789 in Halsall but i have been unable to locate his father.

Edit: that witness may not mean anything as he has witnessed other marriages on the same pages.

i did try lancs opc but had 1867 as the date not a later date for a poss baptism
