The second one Mike posted is for Banns: 25th Oct, 1st & 8th November 1789.

The Banns and Marriages for Aughton are included in the same entry but there is no marriage at Aughton for these Banns and the entry hasn't been transcribed on Ancestry.

One of the witnesses to the 1789 marriage was a James Fazakerley

Edit: that witness may not mean anything as he has witnessed other marriages on the same pages.

Could i ask for further help as i have looked without success for Cuthbert Fazakerly 1767 he married Ann Berley 23/11/1789 in Halsall but i have been unable to locate his father.

Mike, not sure what site Chris posted the 1861 census from, the image definitely gives Peter's age as 3 and 13 on 1871, so b1858.
